 Today, we finished part one of the project, the brainstorming cluster map. We chose to do teenagers as the subtopic. We also started part two today. I already came up with the prompt and I’ll run it by Ria, since she wasn’t here today. It was pretty easy. We’re researching about the positive and negative effects and implications of mental health for teenagers that use social media. This part should be easy if more than one person helps with the research. Everyone in my group was useful today, as always. I believe for the next few weeks that project is going to be our main focus with the input of other work too. 

 Today, we were given a extended group project. My groups topic is ‘Social Media Effects and Implications’. Mr. Rease showed us a website we could easily research on, very helpful. This topic shouldn’t be so hard but I know some of my group members may struggle with this project, sorry not sorry. The website gives us different types of sources, which would be very helpful. 

YESTERDAY WAS MY MOTHER’S BIRTHDAYYY!! Anyway, yesterday we learned about synthesis essays. Today we went over a few key definitions needed to know in that specific class. Some of the words were support, analyze, and evaluate. I keep getting analyze and evaluate mixed up. Evaluate means to judge and analyze means to break down ( i believe). We were talking about “ being successful isn’t easy “ and Mr Rease gave some examples asking if being in the military and becoming a doctor is easy and they said “yes or it depends on that person.” Sorry not sorry but those responses were so stupid man. Anyways, class was chill today.
