8/19

Today, two groups from yesterday's assignment present. In my opinion, my girl Mia did an amazing job with explaining her illustration. I almost cried, not going to lie. With these kinds of assignments, you can pick up different point of views on one historical poem and it's lowkey crazy to me. I was on a roll with answering almost every question that was thrown at me, I know the students was tired of hearing my mouth. Girl, Mr. Rease younger pictures remind me of Lloyd in his "Sweet Love" album photo, shades and all. Class was a chill period today, which i was happy about.

Today, we did a group assignment in class. My part of the group task was pretty easy. I had to draw connections between myself, and my group members, and the poem we read. The poem we were given was called "Refugees in America". It was pretty short, tow stanzas and 8 lines in total but it had a deeper meaning to it so it wasn't that bad or hard to finish. Today was better than the other days last week. Class went by way smoother than usual, so that's a plus. Yeah, that's about it really.

8/17- DREAM BIG

My dream is to become a OB/GYN ultrasound technician. My dream is to also be successful and happy. Making this possible by going to a good school, a well sonography program and keeping every situation in order if possible. Keeping myself motivated with what I want can help with keeping me on track with my dreams. Keeping myself motivated and organized with the early stages of the journey to my end goal will help avoid deferring my dream.

Today, or we can say that day, we took the pretest for unit one. That test was mad confusing and hard, not even going to lie. I tried to seem like I understood but the questions lowkey didn't make sense to me. Probably because literature isn't my strongest topic, but it was confusing, definitely failed. We had took a vocabulary test... we know how that went. (ifykyk) The day was real chill, I was extremely tired though, you know lady monthly reasons. The class wasn't as annoying as usual, so I was happy about that. That's about it really..

Reflection

So far, I’ve learned that long term goals supposedly should be reached by 5 years. We went over a few vocabulary words that I do not remember. There are 15 words that start with ‘a’. Movies don’t have to be 1+ hours to be considered a movie. We went over a few old stuff from last year’s math and added onto it. I found out about the Three Sister Farming, which consist of corn, beans, and squash. I learned that the first to explore Africa, the earliest, was the Portuguese. Christopher Columbus wants a quick route to India, China, Japan, and the Spice Islands but landed in North America, thinkings it was India. He also labeled the Native Americans as Indians since he got the two locations mixed up. This really sums up today. ON TO THE NEXT

Introduction

My name is Jenny. I’m a exotic Gyal, I’m Haitian-American. I am sixteen. I dislike history and ELA/reading/writing. I mainly dislike science, which leave math as my favorite subject and my strongest subject. I really just want to learn what I need to move on to the 12th and last year of high school . I am positive that I won’t need most of this stuff when I get older. I like to read on Wattpad while listening to music. (if you know you know) I like to choose I want to be friends with if I have an attraction to them and they seem quiet/mysterious.:) That’s pretty much it about me. ON TO THE NEXT PERSON >>>
